The FBI's Dallas Terrorism Task Force appears to have thwarted a terrorist plot by Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari.  Aldawsari, a Saudi Arabian citizen, apparently did well enough in high school that he was provided a scholarship by the Saudi government to attend college in the United States.  He was in the U.S. legally on a valid 2008 student visa enrolled at South Plains College near Lubbock Texas where he made his plans for Armageddon and Martyrdom.

What is amazing is the amount of damage that just  a few individuals can do.  Let us not forget that 15 of the 19 hijackers during the 9/11 attacks were also from Saudi Arabia, and most here legally as well (only three were on expired visas).

In 2008, when Aldawsari obtained his U.S. visa, so too did 10,000 other Saudi students.  In 2010, 26,744 Saudi students received U.S. visas.  In recent years, Jihadist websites have been publishing articles urging Muslims in America to build explosives and join Allah.

Congratulations certainly to the FBI - but how many more Aldawsari types are out there in our country?
